The Rough Deal String Band are
a Dublin Based Band with a very authentic old timey sound. Their love
and passion for old-time stringband music is obvious on every track.
They regularly play at music festivals in Ireland and England.
The band members are;
Tim Rogers: Fiddle and Vocals.
Ben Keogh: Guitar and Vocals. Bill Whelan: 5 String Banjo.
Here's what The Old Time Herald
had to say about them:
"The Rough Deal Stringband
is not an American string band, but you would'nt know it from the
sound of the music. Although Tim Rogers is from the United States,
this is an Irish band composed primarily of mucicians who, while not
born to the U.S. old-time music tradition, have come to love it and
have made it theirs. They have also produced a very enjoyable CD that
is a pleasure to listen to selection after selection."

This is Chris Twomey's
first solo album. It features Chris on vocals, concertina, guitar, harmonica
but especially on autoharp. The range of music is from old time to bluegrass
and includes celtic tunes. Here is what Jim Rooney the great Nashville
producer has to say about Chris.
"Country music is
all about soul and personality. Chris Twomey's singing has both. He
comes right into your heart and stays with you. That's the true test
of a great singer. Let him into your heart and you'll find a friend
